We've been having a wonderful time since we got to Great Britain, but we've hardly stopped since we got off the plane and it finally caught up with us yesterday. I could hardly stay awake on the train and felt like I was coming down with a cold. We went to bed early and when we got up David felt sick too. It was dark outside and the weather report was threatening rain for most of the day, heavy at times. We decided we needed a rest! I went out and bought a few groceries and for the rest of the day we've "nested" here; we read books and played cards and got caught up on our blogs and we're about to go to bed early. It has been a success because it seems that both of us have headed off the threatened colds and we feel a lot better.
So nothing new to report, but it was a nice day and we will be "oot and aboot" again tomorrow.
